The Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is investing in upgrades to local hospitals to enable them to continue offering high-quality care to the communities they serve.
Central LHIN is supporting infrastructure upgrades by providing all public hospitals in the LHIN with the following funding allocations: • Southlake Regional Health Centre — $341,254. • York Central Hospital — $296,358. • Humber River Regional Hospital — $711,999. • Markham Stouffville Hospital — $424,184. • North York General Hospital — $519,799. • Stevenson Memorial Hospital — $188,255. • St. John’s Rehab Hospital — $193,853.
The hospitals will use these funds for structural upgrades, as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems improvements, alongside other updates. The upgrades will support compliance with health and safety standards and will enable an efficient and safe environment in which to provide patients with the best possible care.
