As mentioned, "The most popular is Optisol GS, which can preserve cornea tissue for up to 14 days if kept refrigerated."

Does it mean that within 14 days if the corneas (part of the eye) are not being transplanted to a receiver (Blind person) then the corneas donated by the eye donor made during his eye donation will be of no use ?.
